WORLD
takes
First Place in 1999 AQHA Steel Dust Awards for Radio Programming
The
AQHA Steel Dust Awards are designed to recognize outstanding coverage
and promotion of horses, people and events within the American Quarter
Horse industry, the worlds largest equine breed organization. An
independent panel of equine media experts judged 127 entries from
34 entities in 13 categories.
The
judges were: Dana Olmstead, Director of Communications, West Texas
A&M University; Julie Pinkston, Director of Communications,
National Reining Horse Association; and Diane Johnson, Chairperson
of the Livestock Publications Council.
Horseman’s
World was in the company of greats in winning their category including:
The Daily Oklahoman, America’s Barrel Racer, Horse & Rider,
The Western Horse, and the Texas Quarter Horse Association.
